ヴァッチャよ、汝が望む時はいつにても、それらを直接証知する能力に達することができるであろう。それらはすべて、証知の射程のうちにあるからである。
「清浄にして人間を超えた天耳界（ディッバ・ソータ・ダートゥ）をもって、遠きにあると近きにあるとを問わず、天上の音と人間の音と、その両種の音声を聞き取ることができるように」と。
ヴァッチャよ、汝が望む時はいつにても、それらを直接証知する能力に達することができるであろう。それらはすべて、証知の射程のうちにあるからである。
散乱した心（ヴィッキッタ・チッタ）を「散乱した心なり」と知り、広大となった心（マハッガタ・チッタ）を「広大となった心なり」と知り、広大とならざる心を「広大とならざる心なり」と知り、さらに超ゆべきものある心（サウッタラ・チッタ）を「超ゆべきものある心なり」と知り、無上なる心（アヌッタラ・チッタ）を「無上なる心なり」と——。
