pe… anāvattidhammo tasmā lokā. Ayampi kho, ānanda, maggo ayaṁ paṭipadā pañcannaṁ orambhāgiyānaṁ saṁyojanānaṁ pahānāya. Puna caparaṁ, ānanda, bhikkhu sabbaso rūpasaññānaṁ samatikkamā paṭighasaññānaṁ atthaṅgamā nānattasaññānaṁ amanasikārā ‘ananto ākāso’ti ākāsānañcāyatanaṁ upasampajja viharati. They turn their mind away from those things … If they don’t attain the ending of defilements, they’re reborn spontaneously … and are not liable to return from that world. This too is the path and the practice for giving up the five lower fetters. かの事柄より心を離れ……もし煩悩の滅尽（漏尽）を得ずとも、（その者は）自然に化生し……かの世界より還ることなき性（アナーヴァッティ・ダンマ）となる。アーナンダよ、これもまた五つの下分結（オーランバーギーヤ・サンヨージャナ）を断ずるための道（マッガ）であり、修行の道（パティパダー）である。さらにまた、アーナンダよ、比丘は、あらゆる色想（ルーパサンニャー）を完全に超え、有対想（パティガサンニャー）の滅没によって、種々想（ナーナッタサンニャー）に心を向けず、「虚空は無辺なり」と観じて、空無辺処（アーカーサーナンチャーヤタナ）に入り、そこに住する。かの境地において生ずる受（ヴェーダナー）に属するもの、想（サンニャー）に属するもの、行（サンカーラ）に属するもの、識（ヴィンニャーナ）に属するもの……乃至……かの世界より還ることなき性となる。アーナンダよ、これもまた五つの下分結を断ずるための道であり、修行の道である。
