They did not present, teach, or wish this for their disciples and those gone forth. Then I knew what Baka the Divinity was thinking. 彼らは、弟子たちにも出家者たちにも、その法を示すことなく、導くことなく、望むことさえなかった。
そこで、比丘たちよ、わたしはバカ梵天（ブラフマー）の心の中で何が思われているかを、己の心をもって知り取った。ちょうど、力ある人が曲げた腕を伸ばし、または伸ばした腕を曲げるように、それほどの間に、ウッカッタの幸林（スバガヴァナ）のサーラ樹王の根元から消え去り、かの梵天界に忽然と現れた。
バカ梵天は、わたしが遠くよりやって来るのを見て、こう言った。
「来たれ、善き人よ。ようこそ、善き人よ。久しきにわたり、そなたがここへ来る機縁を得なかったことよ。それはまことに常住（じょうじゅう）であり、久遠（くおん）であり、永恒（えいごう）であり……」
