Kathaṁrūpāya ca, bhikkhave, balatāya diṭṭhisampanno puggalo samannāgato? Balatā esā, bhikkhave, diṭṭhisampannassa puggalassa yaṁ tathāgatappavedite dhammavinaye desiyamāne labhati atthavedaṁ, labhati dhammavedaṁ, labhati dhammūpasaṁhitaṁ pāmojjaṁ. So evaṁ pajānāti: ‘yathārūpāya balatāya diṭṭhisampanno puggalo samannāgato, ahampi tathārūpāya balatāya samannāgato’ti. And what, mendicants, is the strength of an individual accomplished in view? The strength of an individual accomplished in view is that, when the teaching and training proclaimed by the Realized One are being taught, they find inspiration in the meaning and the teaching, and find joy connected with the teaching. では比丘たちよ、正見（しょうけん）を成就した人は、いかなる力（バラタ）を具えているのであろうか。正見を成就した人の力とは、如来（にょらい）の説き示した法と律（ほうとりつ）が教え示されるとき、その義（ぎ）に喜びを得、その法に喜びを得、法に結びついた歓喜（かんき）を得ることである。かれはかくのごとく了知する。「正見を成就した人の具える力、まさにそのような力を、われもまた具えている」と。これがかれの証得した第七の智（ち）であり、聖なる（アリヤ）、出世間の（ロークッタラ）、凡夫（ぼんぶ）とは共にせざる智である。かくのごとく、七支（しちし）を具足せる聖者（アリヤ）は――
