想（サンニャー）を……行（サンカーラ）を……識（ヴィンニャーナ）を自己と見なし、あるいは自己は識を有すると見なし、あるいは自己の中に識があると見なし、あるいは識の中に自己があると見なすのです。ヴィサーカ居士よ、このようにして有身見（サッカーヤディッティ）が生じるのです。」
「では、尊き方よ、いかにして有身見は生じないのでしょうか。」
「ヴィサーカ居士よ、ここに多く聞いた聖なる弟子（アリヤサーヴァカ）がいるとします。その人は聖者たちに親しみ見え、聖者たちの法（ダンマ）に通達し、聖者たちの法によく訓練されています。また善き人々に親しみ見え、善き人々の法に通達し、善き人々の法によく訓練されています。そのような人は、色（ルーパ）を自己と見なさず、自己は色を有すると見なさず、自己の中に色があると見なさず、色の中に自己があると見なしません。受（ヴェーダナー）についても……（以下同様）
