「では、友よ、正見（sammādiṭṭhi）が生じるための縁（paccaya）は、いくつあるのでしょうか。」
「友よ、正見が生じるための縁は二つあります。すなわち、他者の声（parato ghosa）と、如理作意（yoniso manasikāra）とであります。友よ、これら二つが、正見の生じるための縁であります。」
「では、友よ、正見はいくつの支分（aṅga）に支えられるとき、心解脱（cetovimutti）を果と功徳とし、また慧解脱（paññāvimutti）を果と功徳とするのでしょうか。」
