「このような清浄行の仲間たちとともに住むことができるとは、なんと幸いなことか」と。尊者よ、わたくしはこれらの尊者方に対し、公の場においても私の場においても、身業（しんごう）において慈しみをもって接することを、常に心がけてまいりました。そして、わたくしはかく思うのであります。「いかなれば、わたくしは自らの心（チッタ）を捨て置き、ただこれらの尊者方の心の赴くままに従って行動すべきではないか」と。かくして、わたくしは実際に自らの心を捨て置き、これらの尊者方の心の御心のままに従って行動しているのであります。
「善きかな、善きかな、アヌルッダよ。しかして、汝らは不放逸（ふほういつ）に、精励し、ひたすら意を励まして住しているであろうか」
