されば、友よ、かの比丘がかくのごとく仏（ブッダ）を念じ、かくのごとく法（ダンマ）を念じ、かくのごとく僧伽（サンガ）を念じながら、善（クサラ）に依拠した捨（ウペッカー）が安定して住するならば、かれはそれをもって喜ぶのである。友よ、かの比丘にとって、これだけのことも、すでに多くのことがなされたのである。
