比丘たちよ、四神足を修習し、繰り返し닦くならば、比丘はこの現世において、諸漏の滅尽によって、無漏の心解脱・慧解脱を自ら証智し、具足して住するのである。いかなる四つか。ここに比丘が、欲を因とする三昧と勤行とを具えた神足を修習し……精進を因とする三昧と勤行とを具えた神足を修習し……心を因とする三昧と勤行とを具えた神足を修習し……観を因とする三昧と勤行とを具えた神足を修習するのである。この四神足を修習し、繰り返し닦くならば、比丘は現世において、諸漏の滅尽によって、無漏の心解脱・慧解脱を自ら証智し、具足して住するのである。
