So I have heard. At one time Venerable Ānanda was staying near Vesālī in the little village of Beluva. Now at that time the householder Dasama, a wealthy citizen, had arrived at Pāṭaliputta on some business. rejoicing … equanimity … Furthermore, householder, a mendicant, going totally beyond perceptions of form, with the disappearance of perceptions of impingement, not focusing on perceptions of diversity, aware that ‘space is infinite’, enters and remains in the dimension of infinite space. 私はこのように聞いた。ある時、尊者アーナンダは、ヴェーサーリーの近くにあるベールヴァという小さな村に滞在しておられた。その頃、裕福な市民である居士ダサマは、何らかの用向きでパータリプッタに到着していた。

さらに、居士よ、比丘は、あらゆる色想をまったく超え、障碍の想が滅し去り、種々の想に心を向けることなく、「虚空は無辺なり」と念じて、空無辺処に入り、そこに留まる。
