あるとき、一人の比丘が別の比丘のもとに近づき、こう尋ねた。「尊者よ、いかなる時に比丘の見解は善く清浄となるのでしょうか。」「比丘が六触処の生起と滅尽を如実に了知するとき、その時こそ見解は善く清浄となるのです。」その答えに満足せず、その比丘は次々と他の比丘たちのもとへ赴き、以下の答えを得た。「比丘が五取蘊の生起と滅尽を如実に了知するとき、その時こそ見解は善く清浄となるのです。」
