比丘たちよ、三つの徳目を具えた比丘は、現世においてすでに喜びと幸福に満たされ、もって諸漏を滅尽せんがための基盤を築くのである。その三つとは何か。感官の門を守護すること、飲食に節度を保つこと、そして覚醒に専心することである。
