諦聴せよ……取の燃料となる諸法とは何か。そして取とは何か。
眼によって識られる諸色あり、それは愛すべく、望ましく、快く、心地よく、官能的にして、欲情を起こさしめるものなり。これを取の燃料となる諸法と称す。これらへの欲貪、これが取なり。
耳によって識られる諸声あり……鼻によって識られる諸香あり……舌によって識られる諸味あり……身によって識られる諸触あり……意によって識られる諸法あり、それらは愛すべく、望ましく、快く、心地よく、官能的にして、欲情を起こさしめるものなり。
