相応部経典（SN27.2）

Sāvatthinidānaṁ. “Yo, bhikkhave, rūpesu chandarāgo, cittasseso upakkileso. Yo saddesu … yo gandhesu … yo rasesu … yo phoṭṭhabbesu … yo dhammesu chandarāgo, cittasseso upakkileso. Yato kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno imesu chasu ṭhānesu cetaso upakkileso pahīno hoti, nekkhammaninnañcassa cittaṁ hoti. Nekkhammaparibhāvitaṁ cittaṁ kammaniyaṁ khāyati, abhiññā sacchikaraṇīyesu dhammesū”ti.
At Sāvatthī. “Mendicants, desire and greed for sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, or ideas is a corruption of the mind. When a mendicant has given up mental corruption in these six cases, their mind inclines to renunciation. A mind imbued with renunciation is said to be fit for work regarding anything that can be realized by insight.”
舎衛城にて。「比丘たちよ、色・声・香・味・触・法に対する欲と貪りは、心の随煩悩である。比丘がこれら六つの場合において心の随煩悩を捨て去るならば、その心は出離へと傾く。出離に満ちた心は、いかなる現観すべき事柄に対しても、修習に堪えうると説かれるのである。」
