Sāvatthinidānaṁ. “Yo kho, bhikkhave, rūpasañcetanāya uppādo ṭhiti …pe… yo dhammasañcetanāya uppādo ṭhiti abhinibbatti pātubhāvo, dukkhasseso uppādo, rogānaṁ ṭhiti, jarāmaraṇassa pātubhāvo. Yo ca kho, bhikkhave, rūpasañcetanāya nirodho …pe… yo dhammasañcetanāya nirodho vūpasamo atthaṅgamo, dukkhasseso nirodho, rogānaṁ vūpasamo, jarāmaraṇassa atthaṅgamo”ti.
At Sāvatthī. “Mendicants, the arising of intentions regarding sights … intentions regarding ideas … is the manifestation of old age and death. The cessation of intentions regarding sights … intentions regarding ideas … is the disappearance of old age and death.”
舎衛城にて。「比丘たちよ、色に対する意思の生起は……法に対する意思の生起は……老死の顕現に他ならない。色に対する意思の滅尽は……法に対する意思の滅尽は……老死の消滅に他ならない。」
