サーヴァッティーにて。尊者カッパは、かたわらに座して世尊にこう申し上げた。「師よ、いかに知り、いかに見れば、この識身に対しても、外なるすべての相に対しても、我執・我所執・慢の想いが心より滅し去られ、思量を超え越えて、寂静にして善く解脱することができましょうか。」「カッパよ、過去・未来・現在を問わず、内なるものであれ外なるものであれ、粗大なるものであれ微細なるものであれ、劣れるものであれ勝れるものであれ、遠きものであれ近きものであれ、あらゆる種類の色を――その**すべて**を――正しき智慧をもって真実に見て、執取せざることによって、人は解脱するのである。」
