At Sāvatthī. “Mendicants, when a mendicant is practicing in line with the teaching, this is what’s in line with the teaching. They should live full of disillusionment for form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness. Living in this way, they completely understand form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness. Completely understanding form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness, they’re freed from these things. They’re freed from rebirth, old age, and death, from sorrow
舎衛城にて。「比丘たちよ、比丘が法に随って修行するとき、これこそが法に随うということである。彼は色・受・想・行・識に対して、厭離の心に満ちて住すべきである。かくのごとく住することによって、彼は色・受・想・行・識を完全に了知する。色・受・想・行・識を完全に了知することによって、彼はこれらのものから解脱する。彼は生・老・死より、また憂いより解脱するのである。
