舎衛城にて。
「……この境地においては、もはや何もない」と、かれらは了知する。
「比丘たちよ、色は無我である。無我なるものは、正しき智慧をもって、このように如実に見られるべきである。『これは我がものにあらず、我はこれにあらず、これは我が自己にあらず』と。受は無我である……想は無我である……行は無我である……識は無我である。無我なるものは、正しき智慧をもって、このように如実に見られるべきである。『これは我がものにあらず、我はこれにあらず、これは我が自己にあらず』と。」
