相応部経典（SN12.62）
At Sāvatthī. That’s why an unlearned ordinary person is unable to become disillusioned, dispassionate, or freed from it. “Mendicants, an unlearned ordinary person might become disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed from this body made up of the four principal states. Why is that? This body made up of the four principal states is seen to accumulate and disperse, to be taken up and laid to rest. That’s why an unlearned ordinary person might become disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed from it.
舎衛城にて。かかるゆえに、無聞の凡夫は、それより厭離し、離欲し、解脱することあたわざるなり。「比丘たちよ、無聞の凡夫といえども、この四大より成る身体より、厭離し、離欲し、解脱することを得るであろう。それはいかなるゆえか。この四大より成る身体は、積集し散滅し、取られ、また捨て置かれるものと見られるからである。かかるゆえに、無聞の凡夫もまた、それより厭離し、離欲し、解脱することを得るであろう。
