“A laywoman with ten qualities is placed in hell as if delivered there. What ten? She kills living creatures. … She has wrong view. … A laywoman with these ten qualities is placed in hell as if delivered there. A laywoman with ten qualities is placed in heaven as if delivered there. What ten? She doesn’t kill living creatures. … She has right view. … A laywoman with these ten qualities is placed in heaven as if delivered there.”
「十の資質を備えた女性在家者は、まるでそこへ運ばれるかのごとく、地獄に置かれる。その十とは何か。彼女は生き物を殺す。……彼女は邪見を持つ。……これら十の資質を備えた女性在家者は、まるでそこへ運ばれるかのごとく、地獄に置かれる。十の資質を備えた女性在家者は、まるでそこへ運ばれるかのごとく、天界に置かれる。その十とは何か。彼女は生き物を殺さない。……彼女は正見を持つ。……これら十の資質を備えた女性在家者は、まるでそこへ運ばれるかのごとく、天界に置かれる。」
