「尊師よ、諍いの根はいくつございますか？」「ウパーリよ、諍いの根は十ある。いかなる十か。すなわち、比丘が法にあらざるものを法として説き、法をもって法にあらざるものとして説く場合である。律にあらざるものを律として説き、律をもって律にあらざるものとして説く場合である。如来の説かれず示されざりしものを如来の説かれ示されたるものとして説き、如来の説かれ示されたるものを如来の説かれず示されざりしものとして説く場合である。
