比丘たちよ、六つの性質を備えた者は、まるで運ばれるかのように地獄に堕ちる。その六つとは何か。生き物を殺し、盗みを犯し、邪淫を行い、そして妄語を語る。さらに、邪欲を抱き、邪見を持つ。これら六つの性質を備えた者は、まるで運ばれるかのように地獄に堕ちる。六つの性質を備えた者は、まるで運ばれるかのように天界に生まれる。その六つとは何か。生き物を殺さず、盗みを犯さず、邪淫を行わず、妄語を語らない。さらに、少欲にして、正見を持つ。これら六つの性質を備えた者は、まるで運ばれるかのように天界に生まれる。
