Then Venerable Ānanda robed up in the morning and, taking his bowl and robe, went to the home of the laywoman Migasālā, where he sat on the seat spread out. Then the laywoman Migasālā went up to Ānanda, bowed, sat down to one side, and said to him, Take another individual who is angry and conceited, and from time to time has greedy thoughts. 朝になって、尊者アーナンダは衣を身につけ、鉢と衣を携えて、在家信女ミガーサーラーの家を訪れ、設けられた座に着かれた。そこへミガーサーラーが近づき、礼拝して傍らに座り、次のように申し上げた。
「また別の人物がおります。その者は怒りやすく慢心を抱き、時に貪りの思いを起こします。そして法を聴聞することもなく、学ぶこともなく、理論的に深く究めることもなく、一時の解脱さえも得ておりません。そのような者が身体の壊れるとき、死後に赴くところは——」
