比丘たちよ、業を生じさせる三つの根源がある。心の中の貪欲こそ、我が縛と呼ぶものである。過去・未来・現在において、貪愛を刺激するものに対して、かくして欲望は生起する。
いかなる三つか。過去・未来・現在において、貪愛を刺激するものに対して欲望が生起するのである。では、いかにして過去・未来・現在において、貪愛を刺激するものに対して欲望は生起するのか。汝の心において、貪愛を刺激するものを思惟し、思量するとき……
