世に三種の病者あり。その三とはいかなるものか。
ある病者は、適切な食事と薬、そして有能な看病人を得るか否かにかかわらず、その病より回復することなし。またある病者は、適切な食事と薬、そして有能な看病人を得るか否かにかかわらず、その病より回復するものなり。さらにある病者は、適切な食事と薬、そして有能な看病人を得てこそ病より回復し、これらを得ざれば回復することあたわず。
