A bee takes the nectar and moves on, doing no damage to the flower’s beauty and fragrance; and that’s how a sage should walk in the village.
蜜蜂が花の色も香りも損なわず、ただ蜜のみを採りて去るように、聖者もまたかくのごとく、村の中を行ずべきである。
