ダンマパダ 第26章 婆羅門品（偈388）
A brahmin’s so-called <j>since they’ve banished evil, an ascetic’s so-called <j>since they live a serene life. One who has renounced all stains is said to be a “renunciant”.
悪を退けたるゆえに婆羅門と呼ばれ、静寂に生きるゆえに沙門と呼ばれる。一切の煩悩を捨て去りたる者、これを出家者と称す。
