Yānīdha bhūtāni samāgatāni, Bhummāni vā yāni va antalikkhe; Sabbeva bhūtā sumanā bhavantu, Athopi sakkacca suṇantu bhāsitaṁ. Sahāvassa dassanasampadāya, Tayassu dhammā jahitā bhavanti;

Whatever beings have gathered here, on the ground or in the sky, may beings all be of happy heart, and listen carefully to what is said. When they attain to vision they give up three things:

ここに集いし生きとし生けるものよ、地に在るものも、虚空（こくう）に在るものも、願わくはすべての生命（いのち）が喜びに満ちた心となり、説かれる言葉に、ひたすら耳を傾けんことを。かれらが正見（しょうけん）の成就を得るとき、三つの法（ダンマ）はおのずから捨て去られる。

種子はすでに枯れ果て、生長を求める欲（チャンダ）はもはやなく、智慧ある者たち（dhīrā）は、この灯火が消えるがごとく、静かに涅槃（ニッバーナ）に入る。この上なき宝珠（ラタナ）は僧伽（サンガ）のうちにあり、この真実の言葉によって、汝らに幸あれ。ここに集いたる一切の存在（bhūtāni）よ、地に宿るものも、虚空（アンタリッカ）に漂うものも、
