For never is hatred laid to rest by hate, it’s laid to rest by love: this is an ancient teaching.
憎しみ（にくしみ）は、憎しみによっては、ついに止（や）むことなし。
慈愛（じあい）によってこそ、憎しみは止む。
これは、永遠（とわ）の古（いにしえ）よりの真理（しんり）なり。
