Whoever is beaten by this wretched craving, this attachment to the world, their sorrow grows, like grass in the rain.
いかなる者も、この哀れなる渇愛に打ち負かされ、この世への執着に囚われるならば、その悲しみは、雨に濡れた草のごとく、いよいよ増し茂るであろう。
