Cut out affection for oneself, like plucking an autumn lotus. Foster only the path to peace, the extinguishment the Holy One taught.
己への愛執（あいしゅう）を断ち切れ、秋の蓮（はちす）を手折るがごとく。
ただ寂静（じゃくじょう）への道のみを育め、それは聖者（しょうじゃ）の説きたもうた涅槃（ねはん）への道なり。
