For the evil that is done by oneself, born and produced in oneself, grinds down a simpleton, as diamond grinds a lesser gem.
己自らによってなされた悪は、己の中に生まれ、己の中に育まれ、愚者（ぐしゃ）を砕く。ちょうど金剛石（こんごうせき）が劣れる宝石を磨り砕くように。
